Website Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Introduction and scope

This Website Privacy Policy explains how 1031 Exchange Services by Lamar, LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit www.lamar1031.com (the "Website") and when you work with us on a 1031 Exchange.

We are partnered with Lamar National Bank, Member FDIC, which holds exchange funds in segregated accounts. Information the bank collects to open and administer those accounts is also covered by the Lamar National Bank Privacy Notice.

Information we collect

Through our contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, preferred method of contact, and any questions or comments you choose to include. Please do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers or other sensitive financial information in the form.

During an exchange engagement. To serve as your Qualified Intermediary, we collect what the exchange requires: legal names, taxpayer identification numbers, property addresses and legal descriptions, sale and replacement closing details, and wiring instructions. Some of this is provided to Lamar National Bank to open and administer the segregated account that holds your exchange funds.

Collected automatically when you visit. We and our service providers automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system and device type
  • IP address and approximate location (city or region) derived from it
  • Pages you view, how long you stay, and the order of your visit
  • How you arrived, such as a search engine, another website, or an online ad, including the ad campaign and click identifiers that ad platforms add to links
  • The date and time of your visit

  • Understand how the Website is used and how visitors find us
  • Measure our advertising, such as whether an inquiry came from an ad we ran
